Tuesday - July 18th, 2006

For the first time in a long time, I have had stuff happen to me today to actualy fill one of these web-logs without it being rubbish. Three things happened today, all of which almost overwrote the storyline I wanted to start today, but thankfuly we're well into it now. Instead I will just tell you what happened here, because I know you're so interested.

First, I got a phone call at about 5:30 this morning from someone at the bus station down the street saying they had one of my briefcases. I got dressed, walked over and it was out of my car. I walked back to the car, looked in, and kissed my POS Stereo goodbye. Now most of you are saying "Oh damn! That sucks so much!" but the only thing they took was my clock (which was an hour and four and a half minutes fast). The stereo didn't work that well and the CD player never did. They didn't touch my speakers, my backup harddrive, my MP3 player or anything else, just my portfolio briefcase (which is also untouched) and my stereo. They broke the holder for the stereo though, so that sucks.

Second, Megan and I went to pay the bills and afterwards she said we needed bread. We went over to one of those Hostess shops and there were pastry snacks everywhere. I got myself two Ding-Dongs, a great treat I haven't had since I was a Wee-Man! Ahh the greatness of the Ding-Dong.

Third, I went to get Megan a job with Chase Field (GO DIAMONDBACKS!) with a friend of mine and I called up the radio station instead (they are both next to eachother on speed dial... yes, I have a radio station on speed dial, do you have a pizza place on speed dial? Well? Do you?!) anyway, the guy acts like he's my friend the whole time and in the end he ends up giving Megan and I dinner at a cool place down the street from us, best wrong number EVER!

So in all, today is a good Karma day, something rather screwed up happened to start it off, but the world balanced itself out, I got a free dinner, Megan got the job, and I got some Ding-Dongs!
