To all Webcomic Artists! I have started a webcomic challenge to you all to change your medium. If you work with Illustrator like I do, then try to use pen and paper. If you use pen and paper and then edit with Photoshop, try to use Illistrator. The goal is to do this for two weeks and see if it works well with you. I don't want you to switch perminantly, but just check it out and see if you learn anything. For the full list of the challenge, check out my YouTube broadcast: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8UAzpSVnPk.

I made this strip kinda' quick today. I was chatting with Megan Rose Gedris who does You+Me: Dream, which is a webcomic I have been reading now for about two years, and I just snapped into creation mode. I thought the strip was kinda funny just because it's so true. I work at the El Tovar which is about 100 feet from the edge of the Grand Canyon. I have not looked at the canyon in about a month now, and that was only because my sister came and she wanted me to show her around (Which I did in a whole of about 3 hours). It's not that it's not magnificent, it's just that I have other things to do and looking at the canyon isn't really one of them.

On that note strangely, I'm going to be hiking down the canyon in a week or two and I will be taking a pad and pen with me to sketch out a few strips, unfortunately, what happens in the canyon, stays in the canyon, so you won't get the full experiance, just the parts that I can get away with. So that should give us a nice little series that I can give to you, and I will be working on more as time goes on. I really want to get into the strip again and so far all I can give you guys are these little fillers. I promise I will try harder, I just need to get motivated again.
